Society and Games

Hello Everyone!  I am Tabitha Burroughs and this is my blog to show people about how video games are created for more than just entertainment.  Today people all over the world are playing video games no matter age, race, or language.  There is news almost everyday on the advancements and new uses for video games in the world today.  The military has been using simulations for training purposes for years now and it has been shown to be quite effective and not as dangerous as training with real weapons in harsh environments.  Also, the idea of augmented reality comes from the idea of virtual reality gaming.  Gaming is a large part of society today and it keeps advancing and I for one am excited to see how video games will change.
